Observe nature. Understand change. Offer tools for action.

Nature is not a backdrop. It is a living system.

Since 2020, I have been developing my own tools to help notice change, test an intervention, and use data to decide what genuinely works.

Environmental awareness

Good environmental technology does not replace nature. It brings us closer to it.

The Artificial Tree explores the possibility of regeneration: how plants might receive temporary support when establishing in dry, degraded areas. EcoMonitor represents the other side of the same thinking: first making environmental processes visible, so decisions are not based on assumptions.

2020 → present

The evolution of an idea: from intervention to observation.

This is not a finished success story. It is a deliberate development path of ideas, physical trials, redesigns, measurement questions and a working digital tool.

2020 beginning
Original ideastartup concept

Artificial Tree: temporary support for vegetation establishment.

In 2020, I launched the Artificial Tree as my own idea and began developing it as a startup.

The starting question was how dry, degraded land could receive water delivery, shade and pioneer planting at the same time. The early concept combined a tree-shaped support structure with a water reservoir, planting pockets, a shading crown and a technology intended to be removable later.

2021–22 prototype
From idea to objectphysical trial

Home-built prototypes, plant-growing trials and startup work.

The project did not remain a presentation: physical structures, plant-growing experiments, hand drawings and 3D models were produced.

Documented trials included lettuce, mint, beans, peas and courgette. Materials prepared for the Start Programme and demo day gave the idea a business and social direction. These trials show that individual elements were physically built; they do not yet prove the water efficiency of the complete system in controlled arid field conditions.

2023 Seedie
Building my own capitalreal business

Seedie: a business built around hydroponic systems.

When the Artificial Tree startup did not take off, I did not abandon the goal. In 2023, I opened Seedie, a shop selling hydroponic systems.

The plan was to raise development capital through my own commercial work. Seedie offered home and multi-level hydroponic systems, grow lighting, nutrients and real working plant-growing installations.

The shop gave me direct experience of what happens when an environmental idea meets real users: what people understand, what they can operate at home, and which systems become too complex or expensive.

2026 redesign
V2 → V4development hypotheses

Less machinery, nature-compatible materials and smaller, measurable units.

The current plans no longer aim to leave a permanent steel-and-plastic tower in the landscape. Every component should be justified, testable and, where possible, removable or compatible with the intended environmental end state.

Each version responds to weaknesses in the previous one. V2 clarified passive water delivery and shading. V3 separated construction from biological treatment. V4 narrowed the focus to Hungary’s Homokhátság and simplified the geometry into a low regeneration island that one person could install.

V2

Passive water tower: central water core, designed capillary paths, cellular biogenic wall and wind-permeable bamboo shade.

Artificial Tree V3 mobile production flow with an unglazed clay reservoir and a two-stage sprayed wall process
V3

Unglazed clay reservoir and mobile production line: building the porous frame is separated from low-pressure biological treatment.

Artificial Tree V4 side and top-view concept with a central clay reservoir and four separately handled sectors
V4

Homokhátság module: a 60–65 cm low island, 12–15 litre clay reservoir, four separately handled sectors and 3–4 local planting points.

Evidence boundary: V2–V4 are currently engineering and ecological hypotheses. They are not validated regeneration technologies without water-release, freeze–thaw, material-safety and controlled field tests.

Present EcoMonitor
From observation to decisionworking system

Turning invisible environmental processes into understandable decision contexts.

Data alone is not yet a decision.

The Environment Monitor turns satellite, sensor and community-sourced information into clear, local knowledge.

Environmental awareness

More liveable settlements begin with seeing more clearly what is happening around us.

The Environment Monitor helps municipalities work from a connected environmental picture instead of isolated spreadsheets.

The system brings satellite indices, surface temperature, water and air quality, local sensors and community reports together on one map.

SATELLITEMap layers

Turbidity, chlorophyll, temperature, water index and moisture.

LOCAL DATASensors

Weather, water quality and air quality measurements.

DECISIONAudit and report

Comparable areas, heat island testing and exportable results.

Shared direction

I do not want to dominate nature, but to notice more clearly what it needs.

The Artificial Tree explores a possible regeneration tool. EcoMonitor shows where, when and how change is happening. The shared goal is conscious attention, measurable experiments and decisions that work with nature.
